According to Marcus Buckingham of the Gallup Organization, the
corporate world is appallingly bad at capitalizing on the strengths
of its people. He encourages managers to stop trying to change
people. Rather, start trying to help them become more of who
they "already are." But how many executives and managers
know how their people "really are"?
Perform-By-Design assesses your employees and provides you with
a report filled with specific, individualized management suggestions
for working more productively with each employee. You'll learn
the
importance of characteristics such as:

Whether employees are internally motivated to make their own
decisions and then take action, or whether they require external
motivation to be effective,

Whether they are forceful and seek to be in charge and in control,
or whether they prefer to "just be a member of the team,"
follow directions well and perform the tasks they are asked
to do, and
• Their comfort level with being managed.
As an added bonus, Perform-By-Design has a second feature, the
Individual Report. It provides the employee
with valuable feedback, including information and ideas for
professional growth. The report is also the employee's guide
to better communication and cooperation with co-workers. It
helps them understand their on-the-job attitudes, emotions and
behaviors.
